The Campus Y is UNC’s hub for organizing resources and education, serving 21 committees across different issue areas to fight for students and support our community on and off campus.

We view ourselves as an accessible pathway for student involvement with struggles they care about, allowing committees to do impactful work without the institutional requirements of being an RSO.
We also directly support the student and off-campus community through mutual aid efforts, including fridges in the Community Empowerment Fund building and the Student Union, the third floor pantry, and contraceptive distribution in the Y bathrooms.
We are uniquely positioned to redistribute funding from the university to invest in the work of committees and student initiatives through the Anne Queen’s Fund, which opens for application at the beginning of each semester.
